Hello, I’m Amanda Josie Ribano — a primary school teacher, musician, and children’s writer based in Northampton.
I have always loved the magic of storytelling and the way books can spark imagination, laughter, and meaningful conversations with children. Through my work in education and creativity, I aim to create stories that feel fun, relatable, and memorable for young readers.
I am the author of No-One Likes Brussels Sprouts, and I am currently writing my next book, No-One Likes Rainy Playtime. My books are inspired by the everyday moments, feelings, and little challenges that children know so well, brought to life with warmth, humour, and heart.
Alongside writing, I also visit schools to deliver assemblies, class readings, and author sessions for primary-aged children. These visits are designed to be engaging, inspiring, and enjoyable, helping children connect with stories, language, and creativity in a meaningful way. Parents will also be able to pre-order signed copies of my books in connection with school visits.
